Bump Update- Week 19

Well..looks like I have missed a few weeks but honestly I think that might be better, because things don't change all that much week to week!
Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 19 weeks, as of Friday (March 23)- So, tomorrow will be 20 weeks!
Size of baby: 6.0 inches, 8.5 oz, a heirloom tomato
Maternity Clothes: Yes! Loving maternity jeans and a lot of shirts my sister in law gave me! :) I can still wear some normal shirts but I am weird about liking my shirts long and my bump is causing most normal shirts to be a bit short for my liking.
Gender: BOY! We found out last Tuesday and are overjoyed! It is so nice to be able to say HE instead of "it" haha. It makes it all a bit more realistic and we are so excited to meet our sweet boy. The name situation is still being debated.. I guess we have yet to find THE name. We have plenty of time though!
Movement: Yes!That sweet boy loves to move around in the afternoons and evenings. It seems like just when I am getting a little nervous I haven't felt him, he starts moving around to let me know every things ok :) Still can't feel it from the outside- although Drew tries daily- hopefully soon though!
Sleep: I went on a women's retreat at my church this weekend and didn't get as much sleep as I normally do, so I guess the past few days I have been catching up. It seems like when my head hits the pillow I am OUT. Of course, I wake up to pee 2 times at least.. but I immediately fall back asleep!
What I miss: I don't miss too much at this point but I am sure that will start to change more as my belly grows even more! People are saying "aww look at your little baby bump" and I am thinking... this is little?! Haha I know it is going to get MUCH bigger but it is still weird when you start to feel your weight shift forward when you walk! I am very thankful to have such an easy pregnancy so far though :) Praise the Lord!
Cravings: Chick-Fil-A still always sounds great.. STILL. ha! Popsicles, ice cream :)
Symptoms: It seems I am having to pee more often during the day... and I know that is only going to get worse-oh and my belly button is getting verryy shallow! I am able to clean it really well, haha! Overall we are thrilled to know he's a BOY and reading to start planning everything out for him! Such an exciting time!

Bump Update- Week 16

Pregnancy Highlights:
How Far Along: 16 weeks, as of Friday (March 2)
Size of baby: 4.6 inches, 3.5 oz -- an avocado
Maternity Clothes: My mom came to visit this week and we went shopping for some more maternity clothes, I got a few more pants and sort sleeved shirts. Most of it fits kind of big at the moment.. but I know that will be changing soon, ha!
Gender: We will find out on March 20- our apt. got moved up 2 days.. we are very ready to know what baby p is-- then the nursery work begins! :)
Movement: Yes! I started feeling something a few days ago but wasn't sure it was baby. Then it started to happen more often. It is still very soft and I am sure baby is still moving at times when I can't feel it. It is a weird feeling and hard to describe, kind of reminds me of what you would think tickling would feel like from the inside, or butterflies in a way. It's amazing either way!
Sleep: I think every night about 5 minutes after I lay my head down I am OUT. Still waking up twice to use the bathroom but I think I pretty much do that in my sleep.
What I miss: I've read that the need to pee situation gets better for lots of women in the second trimester- not me! Ha, I have always thought I had a ridiculously small bladder. At this point about everytime I stand up I need to go.. and I know this will only get worse in my 3rd trimesters so I can only imagine! I am blessed my classroom is across from the teacher restroom so I can go easily and quickly! My students are already just getting used to this new normal.
Cravings: Chick-Fil-A still always sounds great.. my mom brought it to me on work Thursday, delicious!
Symptoms: The restroom situation, like I said before.. and the usual stuff I have said in the past weeks. My back is hurting a lot in the evenings after work.. I know it's not because of baby so much yet, just from how I move so much at work. I am constantly squatting down to first grade sized tables and then standing up, and this never used to be a problem... now by about 2 pm my back is killing me every day! Oh well, its worth it for this sweet baby!
Best Moment this week: Feeling the baby move, and then realizing for sure it IS the baby. My mom kept trying to feel even though we both know there is no way she can feel it at this point.
